Abraham Lincoln is one of the most prominent American president in history. He
was born in a log cabin near Hodgenville wooden, kentucky, on February
12, 1809 and he began his career really from the bottom.
Abraham
Lincoln's early career began at age 19 as the crew of the ship carrying
agricultural produce through the Ohio and Mississippi rivers to New
Orleans.In
1830 Abraham Lincoln along with his father, his stepmother and his
half-brother moved to Decatur, illinois, where he worked to sort out the
rails to be used as fencing.
The
following year (1831) Abraham Lincoln left his home and perform a
variety of jobs ranging from boat to workers to survive hidup.Karir

into the illinois State Legislatures. In 1837 he also became a lawyer and was elected into the House of Representatives of the United States in 1846.
Lincoln's
brilliant speech on the Lincoln-Douglas debates Abraham Lincoln has
made nationally famous, and the Republican party of the newly formed
Douglas chose to fight for the U.S. Senate seat in 1858. Although
Abraham Lincoln defeat in 1860 Replublik Party have nominated Abraham
Lincoln as a candidate for President of the United States. Meanwhile, the Democratic Party has been divided and propose two candidates are Douglas and John Breckinridge.
Shortly after Abraham Lincoln served emerging civil war in America 1861-1865. the civil war was caused by the difference of opinion between the two sides north and south about slavery and civil rights.
The
battle was sparked Abraham Lincoln to announce the Emancipation
Proclamation on January 1, 1863 and he was working on it for 2 years so
that's Emancipation Proclamation became an amendment to the Constitution
of the United States.
The
civil war which culminated in July 1863 is remembered as the bloodiest
confrontation anta both sides in Gettysburg, Pennyslvania. Respect
for the bloody events in Gettysburg is Abraham Lincoln Gettysburg
Address to send the speech Abraham Lincoln was the greatest in the
history of the United States. In
a speech Abraham Lincoln swore "that this nation, which is under the
hand of God, will have a new birth of freedom, and that government of
the people, by the people, for the people will never perish from the
earth".
Abraham Lincoln's dream of a unified state finally materialized. Unfortunately, Abraham Lincoln himself did not live to enjoy the fruits of peace that she had fought with great difficulty. On
15 April 1865, when he was watching perrtunjukkan in Ford's Theater,
Washington DC, she was murdered by unemployed actor and Confederate
sympathizer, John Wilkes Booth (1838-1865).
